Join us at the park for some fun St. Patrick’s day science activities. Feel free to bring a blanket and lunch. Do not forget to join us in Bakersfield!

We encourage you to turn in a sample that is linked to the field trip that you attended during your next learning period. It helps to ensure that we can continue to provide these trips and their educational value.
Heartland field trips are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please indicate this when you register your student and let the field trip host know once you complete your registration.
**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**
May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!
Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? Open to all students, but geared toward 2nd-6th grades. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Eventbrite. This applies to babies, toddlers, siblings, and adults. Individuals who have not registered will be asked to leave.
Check-in Procedures: Meet under covered picnic area.
Is there on-site parking available? Parking on the street.
Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Feel free to bring a blanket and lunch.
Please do not bring food that contains peanuts to any Heartland event.
