This field trip requires you to place an order in Procurify for any ticket paid for with your student's planning amount.
Event Details
Students will experience what it is like for a farmer to harvest their crop by picking out their own pumpkin! Tickets will include 3x Shots on the Massive Potato Cannon where students can experience physics in a fun way, explore with a tractor ride, sunflower patch and corn maze, animal garden, exotic aviary, black light vortex tunnel, spookly storybook flower trail and much more! Families are welcome to stay longer at Murray Farms, as desired, to allow for more exploration of the local family farm. Families will receive a thematic unit lesson plan packet so students can dig deeper into learning more about the life of a farmer with reading and history passages, math equations and science experiments.
Ticket prices:
Age 4-99 are $16.50
Age 1-3 are $10.00
We encourage you to turn in a sample that is linked to the field trip that you attended during your next learning period. It helps to ensure that we can continue to provide these trips and their educational value.

Heartland field trips are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please indicate this when you register your student and let the field trip host know once you complete your registration.

Refunds will not be given for any reason. As a courtesy, if you are sick or unable to attend a field trip, please contact the teacher who planned the event to let them know so they do not wait at the venue for you.* Families who are no-shows may lose access to future field trips.*
May I pay using my student's planning amount? Yes! You can pay for your student's ticket and one chaperone ticket with your student's planning amount. There are two steps to purchase tickets for field trips with your student's planning amount.
Step 1. Reserve your ticket on Eventbrite. Please select the "Student ticket ordered through Procurify" and or "Chaperone ticket ordered through Procurify" ticket options in Eventbrite. Complete the checkout process on Eventbrite. You will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite once your order is complete. This is the first step in reserving your tickets. Immediately after you receive confirmation from Eventbrite you will move to step 2.
Step 2. Place an order for your tickets in Procurify. Search the name of this field trip in the Procurify catalog and complete your order just like you would for any other order.
Your spot on this field trip will not be confirmed until you have placed your order in Procurify. Failure to place an order in Procurify may result in your tickets being given to a family on our waitlist and or being removed from the attendee list and having your funds manually deducted.
Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? All ages are welcome. Each person needs a ticket.
What are the check-in procedures? Families will meet out front at the entrance. HST, Vanessa Kennelley, will be out front holding a sign and wearing a Heartland t-shirt.
Is there on-site parking available? Parking is free and there will be plenty out front.
Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Food: We’ll have lots of delicious food options available! Including our famous Okie Pies, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Spicy Ground Beef Loaded Baked Potatoes, Corn on the Cob, Fruit Pies, Ice Cream Sundaes, Kettle Corn, Cotton Candy, and more.
